The Rabbit Collection
The Rabbit is the very first painting I created for Colours by Shannon.
Inspired by the Year of the Rabbit, 2023. I wanted to paint a bright, colourful animal for my niece’s nursery, based on theme of the year she was born.
The Rabbit has evolved since then, now with 3 colours to choose from.

How are your nursery art prints made?
How are your nursery art prints made?
Each print is a high-quality reproduction of my original acrylic paintings, produced on archival-grade paper to ensure lasting colour and clarity.
First my original painting is scanned using a state-of-the-art Cruse Scanner. Second, it is colour corrected to match the original shades of paint used. Third, a high-quality Giclée print is created to replicate the original.
All prints are created with Hahnemüle fine art paper which in simple terms means this paper will hold the ink’s vibrancy for 50-100 years.
It will literally not fade for a lifetime!

What inspired The Rabbit Collection?
The Rabbit Collection was inspired by my niece who was born in the Year of the Rabbit, 2023.
I wanted to paint a meaningful, vibrant piece for my niece’s nursery, personalised to her. Her name was added to the ear of the Red Rabbit.
This personalisation is something you can also request for any print of mine!
