From her lowest in 15 years to fully booked.
This isn't theory. I built a website for a local service business in Waterford using the exact same approach. Different trade, same method — here's how it played out.
My mam has run Keen Kidz childcare in Waterford for over 15 years. She's brilliant at her job. Always has been.
But last September, she had just 27 of her 42 places filled. The lowest she'd ever been.
Nothing had changed about her service. The kids were happy. The parents who were there loved her. But fewer new parents were finding her, because everyone had moved to searching online, and she had nothing for them to find.
No website. No Google listing. Just word of mouth and hope.
So I built her a simple website. Nothing fancy, just clear information about her service, real photos, and the kind of page that shows up when a parent types "childcare near me" into Google. I set up her Google Business Profile so she appeared on Maps. Made sure everything was connected so Google would actually show her to local parents.
She went from invisible to fully booked in six months. Not because anything changed about how she runs her service. Just because parents could finally find her.
Different trade. Same problem. Whether you're a childminder or a chippie — if people can't find you when they search, you don't exist. The website I built her is the same kind I build for electricians. Clear, honest, built to show up on Google when someone local needs what you do.
